During the New Year African Directors Conference held in Nairobi, Kenya in 2014, JBF New Year Conference also was held including CBF 12 and JBF 6. In the morning on Dec. 26, the first day of the conference Sh. IRIS and Sh. Livingston from Nigeria JBF started the program. In the beginning CBF & JBF from 3 years to 17 years got all along and played together, it was fun to spend time. In the afternoon, however, JBF ran its own program.

At first JBF program had the Ice breaking time, on the second they were using Mind mapping for their introduction. On the third we played a game to help children to open their hearts towards each other and the words of God. I think this should have an important role to play in preparing children to receive the words of God.

On the second day from 9:30 Sh. Mark Yun Jr. led a group Bible study and delivered the gospel message based on Luke 5: 1-11. The title was “Put out into deep water, and let down the nets for a catch.” After lunch, we had the time to write a testimony together.

On the third day children had 2nd group Bible study based on 1 Peter 2, “crave pure spiritual milk” led by Sh. Mark Yun Jr. and had a joint Sunday worship service with the UBF directors.  

For this JBF conference we received a lot of prayer support from the worldwide ministry. Children opened their hearts and shared their stories. Thank God for giving a good opportunity to our children to get together and learn from each other and from the words of God. I pray that our children may grow spiritually to be the next generation spiritual leaders of the continent, Africa as 2nd gen missionaries.
