A New Missionary Family- Abe and Sarah Sohn- sent to Victoria, Canada from Jongro1 UBF, Korea

A new missionary family, the family of Abe and Sarah Sohn, was sent to Victoria, Canada on Jan. 31, 2015 from Jongro1 UBF, Korea. M. Abe Sohn came to know Christ and was forgiven by Christ Jesus as he accepted the gospel through UBF Bible study when he entered the University of Hansung (Computer Engineering) in 1998. By God’s grace, he lived a victorious life during his college years and his master coursework and became an outstanding full-scholarship student and a shepherd for young campus souls. After graduation, he has been working at Samsung and LG in Korea. His wife M. Sarah devoted herself to God bringing many campus students to Christ, and thus she raised many disciples.

Though they could enjoy an easy-going life with a secure job in Korea, they made a clear decision to go out as a missionary family, just as Abraham and Sarah obeyed and went to the promised land leaving their country and father's household.

Their prayer topics are as follow:

  1. To get an IT related job and a green card
  2. For a work visa for M. Sarah and student visa for their children John  &  Luke
  3. To master English
  4. To co-work well with M. Joshua and Helen Park who are serving the University of Victoria and to be used by God in raising disciples in the pioneering work
