A Letter from Iowa UBF

Dear Co-workers,

I’m writing this letter to inform you that I will be resigning as Iowa UBF director starting from June 1.

Thank God for using our family to serve Iowa UBF ministry since August 2011 after Missionary Joshua Yoo’s family went back to Korea in July 2011. God has blessed our family so much in many ways since we served Iowa ministry. Also, it was a great privilege and pleasure for us to serve Univ. of Iowa students since then.

George Blazek finished his law study at UI in 2013 and has been working in Denison, IA as a lawyer. Natalie Kamberos has been joining our Sunday meetings faithfully as a pediatric oncologist at UIHC. Her contract with UIHC will end in July and she recently got a new position at Loyola University hospital and she’s praying to join either Chicago UBF or Lincoln Park UBF from July, 2015. She will establish a house church with Brian in the suburb of Chicago October 3, 2015. Samuel Kim, my brother, successfully finished his DDS program at UI Dental School last year and is working as a general dentist in Milwaukee and faithfully serving Milwaukee UBF since summer 2014.

By God’s grace, I finished my PharmD. program and graduated last Thursday, 5/14. I got a staff pharmacist position at Walmart in Rockford, IL and will start working from June 1. After much prayer we will be moving out soon and are going to join Milwaukee UBF in early June or mid-June.

We are praying for a student missionary/shepherd/shepherdess, or a missionary family, who may continue to serve Univ. of Iowa ministry after us. I sincerely ask you all to pray for this. Thank you so much for your prayers for our family. Our Lord Jesus’ grace and love be with you.

In Christ,

Peter & Esther Kim, Iowa UBF
