Dr. John Jun's CME in Hong Kong UBF

From May 18 to May23 we went to visit Hong Kong UBF.  First, we had Bible study with the native shepherds in Hong Kong ministry based on Ephesians lecture 1.

Afterward, we had Bible study with the five missionaries in Hong Kong UBF ministry based on Ephesians (three lectures) and they all shared their sincere and repented testimonies with us and it took 2 hours to share their testimonies, which were full of grace. Among them M. Ryu Jonglim presented her graceful testimony at the Sunday Worship service and all who attended were greatly moved by her testimony. On Sunday, I also gave a Sunday message in English for them.

These are the missionaries who are serving Hong Kong ministry: M. Angela Kim (Director) who is in charge of Univ of Hong Kong, M. Woojin Kim who is in charge of Univ of Joongmoon and coworking with Eung Jip aeng and Ryu Jong lim, M. Ttakyan who is in charge of Univ of Joongmmon (a college of science and engineering), M. Luis Jung who is in charge of Univ of Science and technology (doctoral course) and his cowrker Sarah Jung.

Univ of Hong Kong and Univ of Joongmoon were well known as higher ranking colleges than Univ of Beijing in the world. And Univ of science and Technology in Hong Kong was also known as a top level college in China.

I saw they eagerly pray that they may pioneer six campuses in Hong Kong and 1000 campuses in mainland China.

Hong Kong is a commercial city and current population is 8 million in the narrow region. The living expense is too high for the people in Hong Kong and beyond our imagination.

But our Hong Kong ministry coworkers are sacrificial for serving campus ministry and they are living in high cost rented houses near the Univ of Hong Kong and Univ of Joongmoon. They also have been sacrificially supporting Hong Kong UBF center rent fee which is $7000.00 a month. We were greatly moved by their gospel faith and sacrifice.

We also were greatly moved by M. Angela Kim's life-giving spirit and gospel faith.

Hong Kong UBF coworkers willingly follow her because of her fully devoted life to the Lord, without having her direct family like Mother Barry.

Prayer topics of Hong Kong:

1) Messenger for 7 shepherds;

2) Pioneering 1000 universities in China;

3) An ancestor of faith for the University of Science & Technology;

4) M. Angela Kim.
