Brazil Sao Paulo UBF had Christmas SWS in December 20th and there were 40 attendants with all the coworkers in Sao Paulo city. We joyfully sang worship songs and after that, Missionary Noah Jeong delivered the message based on Isaiah 9:1-7.

We remembered God’s promise about Jesus: “For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Is 9:6).

The message announced that this Child was born to us and his name was Jesus Christ, who died for our sins and was raised from the dead! Jesus was born in our hearts by faith.

Following the Sunday worship service we had a special Christmas worship program. The first presentation was a choir team which presented beautiful Christmas songs. After that, we enjoyed a joyful instrumental song by 2nd generation missionaries. Finally, a humorous drama based on the story of the Magi was preformed, depicting Magi who came from the east to worship the newborn king of the Jews.

After the programs we had a delicious lunch. Through this Christmas worship service we could rejoice altogether because of Jesus Christ, who was born into this world for us. We thank God for giving us his amazing grace, sending his one and only Son Jesus to save us.

We pray that in 2016, we may preach to all Brazil’s campus the Child, who was born and given to us, that we may obey and follow our Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of Peace.
