  Following the earthquake of 14th April in Japan, yesterday(on Sat., April 16) Ecuador had a very serious one. The earthquake affected the Guayaquil region, but the family of missionary Andre, Ana and their children are safe. I spoke with their daughter, Ester Kim and she told me that they weren't affected by it.

  There are information that say that Japan and Ecuador may have more earthquakes in the future. We ask for prayers for our brothers and sisters in Japan and Ecuador, for their safety. And please continue praying for our WMR.

"Greetings from Ecuador UBF. Yesterday we had a great earthquake. But by God's grace our church and brothers and sisters are safe. We pray that we all may put our hopes in the kingdom of God. We thank you for your prayers."

My family and our brothers and sisters are all safe. It was my first experience of such a strong earthquake. The earthquake was so strong that it was felt on a building of 13 floors. And today, our sheep told us that there were many effects, and many people suffered injuries(* Death toll:272, the injureed: more than 2500, till now- the editor), and even roads were destroyed.

  Many brothers and sisters couldn't sleep at night and they didn't come for our Sunday worship service. We pray that for the authority and sovereignty of our God to expel all our fear and to live putting our hopes in the kingdom of God, working hard for his kingdom to come.
