Thank God for blessing the 3rd annual Spanish Worship Service Conference since its inception about ten years ago. It was a one day conference and it was held at the forest preserve. 

The title of the conference was “You are the Christ,” based on Chapter 9 of Luke’s Gospel. The message was delivered by Shepherdess Marna Pozo. The message was powerful and meaningful. We prayed that each person at the conference may know Jesus as God’s Messiah who saves us from our sins.

In total, there were 50 attendants: 11 children and 39 teenagers and adults. Of those in attendance, 7 came for the first time. There were 4 Bible study groups: 1 for children, 1 for teenagers and 2 for adults.

Rebekah Rayas and Deborah Pozo who recently came back from a mission trip to Uganda gave a report at the conference. They also cared for the young children at the conference through Bible study and fun games.

In addition to receiving spiritual food through the message and Bible study, we also had delicious food to eat. Many at the conference commented that they had a great time and would like to visit us at the Spanish Worship Service.
