2017 Korea UBF New Year National Staff Conference Report

"Train Yourself to Be Godly" (1Timothy4:7) 

On Dec. 5-7, 2016 Korea UBF held its new year's national staff conference with the theme “Train Yourself to be godly" at Resom Spa Castle located in Yesan, Choongnam province, Korea. A total of 94 people (including 12 msn) attended the conference. There were three main lectures regarding the New Year’s direction, a special lecture by an invited instructor and mission reports. We praise and thank God for richly blessing each one of us through the powerful messages, testimonies and mission reports. 

Messengers: Kuem Chul In (Kwanak5) - lecture 1 "Train Yourself to Be Godly" on 1Timothy 4:1-16). Joshua Lee (Hanyang2) - lecture 2 “Fight the Good Fight of the Faith" on 1Timothy 6:3-21), Yongseok Kim (Yongin) - lecture 3 "Let Us Love with Actions and in Truth" on 1John3:1-24). Wonha Shin (Invited Instructor from Korea Theological Seminary) - “Pastor and Godliness". 

On the evening of the second day, three testimony speakers shared their graceful and victorious testimonies based on their campus ministry work. They were: Peter Kim (Yooljun), Choongsin Han (Gwangju1), and Nowon Song (Kyoungki). Following the meeting, Dr. John Jun gave a presentation of his CME work at 11 Chapters in nine countries throughout Latin America. Dr. Samuel H Lee shared what God has done in Zimbabwe UBF ministry for the last five years. Dr. Sam Augustine Lee discussed his new pioneering campus ministry at Princeton University.  Pastor Abraham Kim (UBF General Director) shared prayer topics and basic direction about upcoming 2018 International Bible conference in USA.

At the end, Sh. David Kim (Korea UBF Director) stressed the importance in 2017 for UBF staff members to be a good influence to a generation with secularism, hedonism and materialism. He also gave a clear direction for all attendees “To train yourself to be Godly, and fight the good fight of the faith loving with actions and truth".
