Dear Dr. John Jun whom I respect and love in Christ,

How have you been doing?
I have come back to Germany after attending the Spring Bible Conference, together with Shepherd Jochen Schweitzer, that was held in Minsk at the end of last May.
I give praises of thanksgiving and glory to God who has accomplished the amazing work of the Gospel and discipleship ministry through UBF house churches around the world.

I heard about you from Missionary Mary Shin.
I learned that you were going to serve Gwanak III, Jongno UBF, Korea UBF while staying in South Korea until 6/25/18.
Your constant loyalty and commitment to the Lord, your shepherd heart, humble serving, and prayer for UBF coworkers, are living examples of a life of mission to us and gives us great comfort.
I pray earnestly that God will always protect your health, and completely heal the toe bones of Shepherdess Sarah Seonji Jun.

We had the United Conference with Mainz UBF, Koblenz UBF, and Rhein-Sieg UBF in the German Central Garden City Blankenheim this past mid-May. We studied the book of Acts and Ephesians. It gathered about 100 people. We formed the body of Christ and renewed a world mission vision.
Thanks be to God for the native 2nd generation shepherds and the 2nd generation missionaries. They were established as the servants of God’s words and are challenging European campus evangelism and spiritual awareness with God’s words.

We owe everything to your love and prayer support.

Last week, we invited Shepherd Moody Park and had Numbers Bible study for CME.
We have had an annual CME for the last 3 years.
We divided Numbers into 5 lectures and studied following Leviticus and Deuteronomy.
So far, we have finished studying Moses’ Pentateuch. We learned the faith and trust in God's absolute love and sovereign guidance. We have renewed our spirit to receive wilderness training in Europe.
We also repented of our easy-going mentality and earnestly prayed to newly challenge campus mission with a life-giving and fighting spirit.
We have several thanksgiving topics: first, Koblenz University campus mission through the house church of Christoph Tornau; second, Rhein-Sieg, Rheinbach campus mission through Shepherd Jochen Schweitzer’s family; third, many families who are actively engaged in the college ministry.
Missionary Joshua Khang’s family in the Czech Republic with their 2nd generation missionary daughter Hope, attended the Numbers CME.
Shepherd Moody visited Wiesbaden UBF and Mainz UBF and served the Numbers CME with words of life.
He returned to Korea yesterday.
We thank God for his prayer support.
We have good news: last month Shepherd Johannes Chang passed the last Internal Medicine board examination and rendered glory to God.
He is also joining the faculty members who are getting a big scholarship. He will be able to spend more time writing papers.
His first son, Paul Esra is one year old now and had a first birthday party. Thank you for your love and prayer support.

Prior to the 2018 ISBC, for two weeks from July 24 to August 6, New Jersey UBF will open GLE-Forum to train the next generation UBF leaders. Missionary John Park and I are working together to prepare this program.

For your prayer support, I will send the GLE-Forum program as an attachment to a note.
The next generation UBF leaders from North and South America, CIS, and Europe will attend the class. The number of participants is limited to 30 people.

I hope to see you soon in the United States longing for your prayer support.
Please give my best wishes to Shepherdess Seonji Jun.

Prayer support request:

From Bonn UBF, about 12 people including native shepherds, missionaries, and 2nd generations, will attend this international conference.
Missionary Priska Schweitzer is serving her mother who received pancreatic cancer surgery in Korea. I ask your prayer support for her mother. In mid-July, Paul Dietzel the first son of Shepherd Joachim and Elke Dietzel completed Abi and is planning to visit Korea. He will go to Kwanwak III to receive spiritual training. I ask you and Shepherd Moses Yoon to love and pray for him.

I will keep in touch with you.
Sincerely,

Dr. Peter Chang
