Mexico is a country of G20 and a member of OECD having GDP $15,300 (2012). UNAM (National Autonomous University of Mexico) is the best national university in Mexico having 350,000 students and 180,000 of them attend in the main campus Mexico CU. Our missionaries who serve this campus are: Missionaries Abraham and Sarah Hwang the pioneers of the campus, David and Esther Hong, Pablo Lee, and Andres and Anna Park. I could serve CME ministry for them from Feb/14-18 staying at missionary Abraham's. We studied God's words with Ephesians lesson 1 on Feb/15, lesson 2 on Feb/16 and Galatians on Feb/17.

I delivered Sunday message. Missionary David Hong interpreted well and the worship service was so graceful. All the missionaries shared graceful testimonies from 3 pm on Sunday. Missionary Abraham Hwang was so moved by Apostle Paul's praise and thanks to God holding Jesus cross firmly even in a suffering prison. He testified he will hold the grace of Jesus cross all the more. Missionary David Hong and all other missionaries testified that they would renew and grave God's calling as missionaries to Mexico in their hearts to win a victorious life of mission. We stayed here comparatively for shorter period but God's grace was abundant with intensive studies of God's words.

Mexico CU ministry is the origin of pioneering Mexico and has grown remarkably. However a lot of prayers are required for succession of the ministry. Shepherd Raul who is an attorney has been established as the director. He needs prayer support for his disc problem which bothers his activities. Nevertheless the ministry has not shrunk but growing thanks to faithful endeavors of our missionaries and leaders. They are raising disciples of Jesus through Bible Cafe and campus group bible studies.

멕시코는 GDP가 15,300달러(2012년 기준)이고 G20와 OECD에 가입한 나라입니다. Mexico UNAM 대학은 멕시코 최고의 국립대학이고 총 학생수가 35만이며 Mexico CU 캠퍼스에는 18만명의 학생이 있습니다. 이곳 대학을 섬기고 있는 선교사님들은 다음과 같습니다. 개척자였던 Abraham, Sarah Hwang 선교사 가정과 David Esther Hong, Pablo Lee, Andres, Anna Park 선교사님들입니다.

저희는 2월 14-18일까지 Abraham Hwang 선교사님 댁에 머무르면서 CME를 섬겼습니다.​ 말씀공부는 15일 에베소서 1강, 16일에 2강, 17일 주일에는 갈라디아서 5장 공부(17시), 주일 11시에 주일 메시지를 전하고 David Hong 선교사님이 통역을 잘 해 주었습니다. 주일 예배는 은혜가 넘쳤습니다. 주일 오후 3시에는 선교사님들과 소감을 은혜스럽게 나누었습니다.

Abraham Hwang 선교사님은 사도바울의 그 어려웠던 옥고 중에도 예수님의 십자가의 깊은 은혜를 굳게 붙잡고 감사와 찬양이 넘친 것으로 인해 은혜를 받고 자신도 주님의 십자가의 은혜를 굳게 붙잡겠다고 했습니다. David Hong과 모든 선교사님들은 멕시코 선교사로서 부르심을 매일 새롭게하고 마음에 새기고 승리하는 생활을 하겠다고 했습니다.​ 이곳에서는 기간이 짧지만 집중적으로 말씀공부를 하여 은혜가 뜨거웠습니다.

Mexico CU 역사는 멕시코 개척의 발원지고 역사가 이미 크게 성장했습니다. 그런데 역사를 계승하는데 기도가 많이 필요 합니다. 지금은 변호사인 라울 목자님을 지부장으로 세웠는데 척추디스크 때문에 활발하게 움직일 수 없어 기도가 필요합니다. Abraham Hwang 선교사님과 리더들이 열심히 바이블 카페와 캠퍼스 그룹 바이블 스터디를 통해 양들을 피싱하여 열심히 제자양성을 하고 있습니다. 그래서 역사가 침체되지 않고 오히려 성장하고 있습니다.
