Mexico City, Mexico's capital city, is located at an altitude of 2,250m above sea level,So the climate is very good, now the northern half is winter, but here is like spring.There are about 21 million people living in greater Mexico City. CME team served four chapters in Mexico City beside Mexico CU chapter from February 18-24. The following missionaries have served ministries: IPN (Bernabe Choi, Rebecca Choi, Andres kim, Maria kim), Iztacala (Isac Park, Rebeca Park), Cuautitlan (Daniel Baek, Sarah Baek), Santotomas (Issja Roh, Lidia Roh). In addition, missionary Joshua Bae and Lydia Park (Guadalajara) from Puebla attended the meeting in time, and the spiritual environment was very good. I had two meetings in IPN and three lessons in Iztacala.

In the Iztacala branch, discipleship training is relatively taking place normally. There are about 35 Sunday worship service attendants. Those students who attended 2007 International Conference have been matured spiritually and physically and now became doctor shepherds. In Iztacala, we have been blessed with four chapters’ united Sunday worship service. Missionary Bernabe Choi  worked for financial independence, served IPN ministry, and served Mexico ministry as a coordinator for seven years supporting needy missionaries in Latin America.

Missionary Daniel Baek’s house church, who serves Cuautitlan chapter, has pioneered UAM branch in Cuautitlan and has raised the disciples of Jesus faithfully, renting a Bible house near the campus.The testimony meeting was very gracious. Missionary Isac Park shared that he has meditated on the word and struggled to train disciples and to help house churches. He wanted to train disciples more thoroughly in the future. Missionary Bernabe Choi said that he would renew God’s calling, feed sheep diligently, and give thanks and praise to God like Apostle Paul. Women coworkers shared their testimonies with tears and repentance.

멕시코 수도인 멕시코 시티는 해발 2250 미터에 위치하여 기후가 매우 좋습니다. 북반구는 지금 겨울이나, 이곳은 남반구라서 현재는 봄과 같으며, 북반구가 여름일 때는 가을과 같다고 합니다. 멕시코 시티 광역시에는 약 2,100만 명이 거주하고 있습니다.

CME팀은 2월 18일부터 24일까지 멕시코 CU 센터 및 주변의 4개 지부와 함께 말씀 역사를 진행했습니다. 4개 지부에는 아래의 선교사님들이 역사을 섬기고 있습니다. IPN (최바나바, 레베카, 김안드레스, 마리아), 이즈라칼라 (박이삭, 레베카)  쿠아우티트란 (백다니엘, 사라), 산토 토마스 (노엘리야, 리디아). 이외에 쁘에블라의 배여호수아, 과달라하라의 박리디아선교사님들이 철저히 시간을 지켜 참석했고, 모임의 분위기가 매우 좋았습니다. IPN에서 모임을 2번 진행했고, 이즈타칼라에서 말씀 공부를 3번 진행했습니다.

이즈타칼라 지부에서는 비교적 제자 양성 역사가 정상적으로 일어나고 있습니다. 주일 예배 참석자 수가 약 35명입니다. 2007년 라틴 국제 수양회 때 보았던 양들이 지금은 영육 간에 성장하여 의사 목자들로 섬기고 있었습니다. 이즈타칼라에서 열린 4개 지부 연합 주일 예배는 은혜로웠습니다. IPN의 최바나바 선교사님은 자립을 위해서 일하는 가운데 IPN 역사를 섬기며, 멕시코 연합 지부장 직분을 7년째 담당하고 있고, 특히 자립이 어려운 중남미 선교사님들을 지원하고 계십니다.

쿠아우티틀란 지부을 섬기시는 백다니엘 선교사님 부부는 쿠아우티트란에 있는 UAM 대학의 지방 캠퍼스를 개척하고 있는데 대학 옆에 센터를 얻어서 착실하게 제자양성을 하고 있습니다. 소감 모임은 매우 은혜로웠습니다. 박이삭 선교사님은 말씀을 묵상하고, 그간 제자양성과 가정 교회를 돕느라 투쟁한 것을 발표하며, 앞으로 제자 양성을 더 철저히 하고자 결단했습니다. 최바나바 선교사님은 부르심을 새롭게 하고  양을 열심히 치고 사도 바울처럼 하나님께 감사와 찬양을 드리겠다고 했습니다. 사모님들은 감동과 회개의 눈물의 소감을 나누었습니다.
