WE EXPERIENCED JOY AS A HEAVENLY FAMILY DOING EVERYTHING TOGETHER

Making use of the Ramadan feast holiday, we had 5 Solas Bible Studies (Sola scriptura, Sola Gratia, Soli Christus, Sola Fide and Sola Gloria). The Lord filled our 14 attendees including Jose and Maria from Chicago with His Spirit. We experienced joy as a heavenly family doing everything together such as morning Daily Bread, 5 Group Bible Studies, grocery shopping, beach walking, visiting the Malaysian History Museum, cooking and eating together. We realized we are strengthened when we are together.

Malaysia UBF began when Ison decided to return to Malaysia in the summer of 2011 after finishing his bachelor's degree. He used to study the Bible with Dan while studying in IIT, Chicago in 2006, after which he began co-working in Springfield UBF before returning to Malaysia. He could have enjoyed life in the USA with the best job he could have, but he obeyed the Lord’s calling and returned to Malaysia! Just two years ago, God blessed him with a suitable helper, Rebekah who is from Taiwan.

In the same year Ison returned to Malaysia, Vincent also returned from the USA after finishing his bachelor's degree. He used to study the Bible with M. Joshua Hong in University of Chicago. He married Carole and now serves as the coordinator for U of Malaysia campus, pioneering 50,000 students in that campus. Ronny and Adileem, who married by faith two months ago, live above the Bible House.

We saw a new paradigm for World Mission which is campus ministry led by native Malaysian shepherds instead of by Korean missionaries. Native shepherds, Ison and Vincent, studied the Bible in USA and returned to their own country for World Mission. May God raise many missionaries who study the Bible in America and other free countries and return to pioneer their own countries among the remaining 133 countries of the world!
