"Blessed is the Man who is Justified by Faith" Korea UBF National Fall Staff Conference Report (Oct. 14-16, 2019) (English / Korean)

Korea UBF national fall staff conference was held with the theme “Blessed is the man who is justified by faith”(Romans 5:1-21) on Oct 14-16 at Tongdo Fantasia Condo at Yangsan, Korea. The conference started with GBS “Abraham justified by faith” based on Romans 4:1-25. Through the study, we deeply learned that Abraham & David were justified only by faith just as we are, that truth was rooted in the old testament.

In the evening, Dr. Gwngpil K. (Former Gwangju Seminary professor) gave a special lecture with the theme “Justification & Sanctification”. Through it we learned that both justification & sanctification were given only by faith that comes from God’s grace. Afterwards, there M. James & M. Esther K. from Karlsruhe UBF in Germany were introduced and they shared their prayer topics at the meeting, and we all prayed together for World mission and Korean campus pioneering work.  

On the second day, we enjoyed God’s beautiful creation world, climbing surrounded mountains and training our physical strength, too.    

On the third day morning, we studied “Justification and peace with God” based on Romans 5:1-21. This was followed by India UBF Summer Conference report by Sh. David K. (Yonhee UBF) and Kazakhstan visit report by Sh. Spurgeon L. (Jongro2 UBF).

At the end, Sh. Moses L. (Korea UBF director) gave prayer topics for the South America Conference and for the 30th anniversary of Kenya UBF pioneering celebration, and we finished the conference with united prayer together.

2019년 가을 스탭 목자 수양회
 
 
가을학기 캠퍼스 복음역사를 섬길 새 힘을 덧입고자 10월 14-16일에 경남 양산에 있는 통도환타지아콘도에서 ‘믿음으로 의롭게 된 자의 복(롬5:1-21)’이라는 주제로 가을 스탭 목자 수양회를 가졌습니다. 
 
첫 날 도착 즉시 그룹별로 ‘아브라함의 믿음의 의(롬4:1-25)’를 공부하면서 유대인들이 자랑스럽게 여기는 그들의 조상 아브라함 역시 우리와 마찬가지로 믿음으로 의롭다함을 받았으며 또한 그들이 자랑스럽게 여기는 다윗 왕 역시 믿음으로 의롭게 된 자들이 누리는 죄 사함의 복을 노래했던 사실을 통해 믿음에 의한 칭의란 구약성경에 깊이 뿌리박고 있는 진리임을 붙잡게 되었습니다.
 
저녁식사 후에는 광신대학교 조직신학 교수로 재직하셨던 고광필 박사가 ‘칭의와 성화’라는 주제로 특강을 해주셨습니다. 특강을 통해 칭의와 성화는 논리적으로 구별되지만 둘 다 믿음으로 받게 되는 하나님의 은혜(이중은혜)임을 붙잡게 되었습니다. 특강 이후 독일 칼스루헤 김제임스·에스더 선교사의 소개와 기도제목 발표가 있었고, 이후 세계선교와 한국 캠퍼스 사역을 위한 기도모임이 있었습니다.
 
둘째 날에는 주변의 산들을 등반하면서 하나님이 주신 대자연을 호흡하고 체력을 단련했습니다. 셋째 날 오전에는 ‘믿음으로 의롭게 된 자의 복(롬5:1-21)’을 공부했고, 이어서 있었던 스탭 미팅 때 연희 센터 김다윗 목자의 인도 여름수양회 보고와 종로센터 이스펄젼 목자의 카자흐스탄 심방 보고가 있었습니다. 
 
마지막으로 한국대표 이모세 목자님이 남미 수양회와 아프리카 케냐 30주년 기념 수양회 기도제목을 제시하셨고 함께 합심하여 기도함으로 가을 스탭 목자 수양회를 마쳤습니다.
