FATHER, FORGIVE THEM

UBF Mexico City (July 16-18, 2020)

Luke 23:34, Jesus said, “Father, forgive them, for they do not know what they are doing”

God gave us the vision to serve the online Bible conference through new technologies, like Zoom.

M. Abraham asked us to lead this conference (Iván and Janet), serving from our center in Mexico City CU. We planned the conference program and all the members who live in the center, collaborated with joy and love to prepare all activities like bible study, dance, choir, worship, special musical pieces, dramas, decoration, and technical support for online transmission.

By grace, 205 participants registered including new sheep and members of our chapter in CU, but God blessed the conference with the participation of UBF Salvador and UBF Peru.

Wonderfully, we saw the faithful participation of our guests in all activities through bible study, message time, testimony writing and general meeting. During 3 days, 13 testimonies were shared with deep desire to be healed and satisfied by the word of God.

The first day, we had a drama and Alejandro served powerfully the message of Mark 2:1-11. We learned the power of faith that lifts up those men, paralyzed by sin. Also, Salvador shared his heart-moving life testimony.

On the second day, we had a drama and a message of the Samaritan woman and living water served by Enrique. We were satisfied with the word of Jesus. Finally, Gladys shared her touching life testimony.

On Saturday, Blanca played a beautiful musical piece. Later, Carlos served the message of Luke 23, "Father, forgive them". We could see the great love of Jesus, who gives us forgiveness of our sins through his blood shed on the cross. After that D. Paulina shared her beautiful testimony of life.

At the end, we had our little festival with a choir, another musical piece, and the Mexican dance named "Evangelina" which was very joyful.

We thank God who blessed us through this beautiful conference. Currently the world is in darkness and hopelessness, however God shows us through his word that he is working for the salvation of all humans. The blood of Jesus is powerful to overcome sin and death.
