(UBF English Daily Bread) A Meeting Report on December 17, 2020
On December 17, 2020, the English daily bread team met to pray, to review what had happened during the year and to review the results of the survey that was posted on the website. We thanked God for three writers and two editors who joined the team in 2020. We thanked God for the privilege of serving in this past year, and we ask that God will continue to use the daily bread team to serve God's people with His word. For a list of current writers and the editors, refer to the back page of the printed daily bread.
The pandemic has made printing and distribution of the English daily bread quite challenging. Unfortunately this is not likely to get better in 2021 until the pandemic has subsided. For the time being, M. Joshua Min has emailed a PDF copy to all subscribers and will soon be doing the same to all chapter directors. If you would like a PDF copy, please contact your chapter director. In the meantime, the best way to get daily bread is on ubf.org. In the near future, it will also be available in kindle format on Amazon.
A big thanks to those who filled out the survey and have also indicated a willingness to volunteer. If you haven't already, the survey is available in the daily bread section of ubf.org, and we'd love to hear from you.
We appreciate all of the kind words and construction suggestions from the survey. Based on the results, expect some changes beginning in the middle of 2021.
* There are some formatting changes that will give the writers more space to write.
* We will not adhere to a strict part one and part two in the daily bread.
* We will try to write in a more devotional style and less summary when possible.
Our prayer is to make the daily bread as useful as possible to the readership. So please let us know what you think when the new changes are available beginning with the July 2021 daily bread.
