Blessed are the Poor in Spirit

“Blessed are the poor in spirit for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” (Mt 5:3) 

The French conference was held at Le Rocheton, located in the south east of Paris from Friday  16^th to 18^th July with 30 attendants from Paris, Nantes and Aix-Marseille. The conference  broadcasted a streaming service for those who were not able to come and 5 attendants were  participated via zoom online. 

On Friday evening M Josué Kim opened the conference with the message of Mt 5.1-12. After  the message, we heard the life of Rev. Sohn Yang-won prepared by Yohan Kim Jr. who  presented joyfully. He shared his testimony and prayed to be a good shepherd like Rev. Sohn. 

On Saturday we studied Mt 6.5-13 and heard a message of M Jacob Han who invited us to  pray with deep understanding of Lord’s prayer. Msn Maria Heo, servant of prayer, delivered a  message on the prayer life of Hanna. We heard junior testimony of Isaac Kim. He gave a glory  to God who made use of a weak person to be strong. Following the testimony we heard from  encounter movement team’s presentation (Esther Nett, Pavlos Lee) on their activities of each  small group. 

On Sunday, we studied Mt 6.24-34 and had a time to cast out all worries hearing a message  of M Jeanne Kim. She emphasized God’s promise when we seek his kingdom and his  righteousness. 

We praise God who taught us how to be happy, how to pray and how not to worry in our daily  life throughout the conference. We thank God who allowed us to share a good fellowship.  Praise God for giving us new spirit to serve young people in France.

2021 년 프랑스 여름 수양회

심령이 가난한 자는 복이 있나니

2021 년프랑스여름 수양회가 7 월 16 일부터 7 월18 일까지파리남동부에위치한르로슈통에서 파리, 낭트, 엑스 마르세유 지부, 총 30 명이 참석한 가운데 열렸습니다. 현지 참석이 힘든 인원을 위해 스트리밍 서비스를 제공하여 5 명이 온라인으로 참석하였습니다. 이번 수양회는 예수님의 산상수훈 말씀을 기초로 공부를 하였습니다.  

첫째날 저녁강의는 파리센타의 김죠수에 선교사님이 마태복음 5 장 어떻게 행복해질 수 있는가 라는 제목으로 수양회 개회 메시지를 전했습니다. 이후 김요한 주니어는 손양원 목사의 일대기를 재미있게 잘 발표했으며 그와 같은 좋은 목자가 되기를 기도하였습니다.  

둘째날 주제강의 1 강은 낭트센타의 한야곱 선교사님이 어떻게 기도해야하는가라는 제목으로 주기도문의 깊은 의미에 대해서 전했습니다. 저녁에는 기도의 종, 허마리아 선교사님이 한나의 기도생활에 대해서 삼상 1,2 장 말씀을 전했습니다. 김이삭 주니어는 소감을 통해서 연약한 사람도 그 믿음을 보시고 귀히 쓰시는 하나님께 감사하였습니다. 다음으로 Encounter movement 프로그램 및 각 그룹 활동에(Esther Nett, Pavlos Lee , 줌으로 소개) 대해 듣고 젊은 영혼들을 위해 기도하는 시간을 갖게 되었습니다.  

주제강의 2 강은 엑스 마르세유의 쟌느 김 선교사님이 어떻게 염려하지 말아야 하는가 라는 제목으로 전했습니다. 쟌느 선교사님은 그의 나라와 그의 의를 구할 때 하나님의 약속을 강조하고 우리의 모든 필요를 채워주시는 하나님을 찬양하였습니다. 

우리는 수양회를 통해서 행복의 비결은 무엇인지 그리고 기도의 방법과 염려를 물리치는 길에 대해서 배울 수 있게 되어 감사하였습니다. 믿음의 동역자들과 좋은 교제의 시간을 주시고 프랑스의 젊은 영혼들 섬길 수 있는 새로운 스피릿과 믿음을 주신 하나님을 찬양합니다.
