FATHER'S LOVE

Praise God for a blessed retreat based on the Father’s Love in Luke 15. College students from various Chicago campuses joined the weekend to worship, reflect, fellowship, and grow in God’s love. About 30 students from UIC, Northeastern, Northwestern, North Park, Loyola, and Oakton united with leaders to total up to about 50 participants in all.

The weekend started off with worship, icebreakers, and powerful testimony sharing from Genesis bible studies. Students participated in deep bible study, testimony writing, and sharing for Luke 15, Squid Game-themed outdoor games, sketch competitions, and a bonfire. E*rick Lopez and M*ike Diaz delivered heart-moving messages. Praise God for growing leaders, for consistent and new students, for the opportunity to cowork, and for His great love!Please watch the videos below to see our weekend, the winning sketch, the Good Shepherd message, and a leader report!

Luke 15:20, So he got up and went to his father. “But while he was still a long way off, his father saw him and was filled with compassion for him; he ran to his son, threw his arms around him and kissed him."

God is working in our student's ministry. Please pray we all accept the Father's love personally through our all-campus student retreat from October 29-31, 2021.
