(NORTH AMERICA) The North American UBF Coordinators had Their First Monthly Meeting of 2022
By T*eddy Hembekides
Praise God for blessing our first North American Joint Coordinators’ meeting of the year on Sunday, January 30th, 2022 mainly to discuss our thoughts and observations regarding the last 2022 North American Leaders’ Conference, our future direction as a North American campus mission ministry, committed to prayer and to raising disciples, as well as the current status, function and strategy of our Joint North American Regional Coordinators’ quorum.
We welcomed our two emerging co-regional coordinators, P*aul Sambuco [Director of Baltimore I UBF] and P*hillip Brown [Director of Washington DC UBF] who will be succeeding the current Mid-Atlantic Regional Coordinator, Dr. D*aniel Lee. The General Director’s direction and model in serving one unlikely sheep was mentioned and shared as welcome wisdom for hard times. Thoughts were shared on the necessity of an evolving conference program that includes younger staff participation and management. Motivating suggestions were made to encourage recent conference group leaders to follow up with their team members for the purpose of fellowship and prayer. The regional coordinators were also encouraged to consider any financially straining situation our regional chapter families may be enduring so that they might be considered for financial assistance. We ended our meeting with hopes of continuing to discuss relevant issues at hand. The Lord’s Spirit be with you and with all who love and serve the Lord Jesus. Amen.
