(USA) D*avid Kim From Houston Space UBF Received a Prestigious NASA Award
By D*avid Kim
G*race Kim and I (D*avid Kim) have been pioneering the Houston Space UBF for three years. I am a Human Performance Data Engineer working for NASA's Johnson Space Center in Houston. I perform research and provide operational expertise in several technical areas to assess health and performance of astronauts on the International Space Station and for future human exploration missions on the Moon and Mars. Recently, I was awarded the NASA Johnson Space Center Director’s Innovation Award. This is a very prestigious award. I thank God and am happy to be recognized for the development of multiple innovative processes for analyzing astronauts' biomechanics and physiological data. Currently, G*race Kim is a student for the PhD program in epidemiology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston (UTHealth) School of Public Health. May God use us to help and guide young students pursuing STEM careers.
