(HQ) Kingdom Perspective for Church Community and Civil Society

Dear servants of Christ throughout the UBF community:
 
"Pray then like this, 'Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven" (Mt 6:9)
 
First of all, thank God for your fervent prayers for the people of Ukraine in this time of terrible war. And thank God for your sacrificial support for many brothers and sisters in Ukraine UBF who have been suffering unbearably.
 
As we continue to pray, it is important to keep a kingdom perspective. For this purpose, Dr. Augustine Suh, the Chairman of the HQ Education Department, has produced a paper titled, "Kingdom Perspective for Church Community and Civil Society." It was helpful to me, and I believe it will be a blessing to you.
 
As one who has very dear friends in Christ, both in Ukraine and Russia, I long for the time when "They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore" (Isa 2:4b). May our mighty and gracious God bring a swift end to this war and establish his kingdom on earth as it is in heaven.
