(ARGENTINA) La Plata UBF Thanksgiving & Prayer Topics for Their New Bible Center
by Juan Carlos V.
The followings are thanksgiving and prayer topics from M. Juan Carlos V., the director of La Plata UBF for their new Bible Center:
Thank our Lord Jesus Christ for his grace to call us to serve in the work of evangelization for university students through our UBF ministry. La Plata UBF members are enormously thankful for all the prayers and financial support from our UBF community for acquiring land to build a new Bible center. Currently, we gather in the house of M. Isaac and Mary Cs, who has offered their home for the work of God for many years. In recent years, the number of members in our chapter has been growing by God's grace. Although we remodeled the hall of Sunday worship service during the COVID-19 pandemic, the space needs to be bigger.
We currently have approximately 45 participants in the Sunday worship service, and we had around 100 attendees at the last Christmas worship service. The new land is a great blessing for us. It is near the National University of La Plata, School of Engineering. It allows us more space to serve Bible students and have church activities. Unfortunately, we still have a long way to go because we need to do construction work. But we have faith in God, who will provide everything we need as it has been so far. We pray that we can build a new place soon to worship God.
Please keep praying for us with the following prayer topics:
1. A good collaboration between the families of M. Cho and M. Vivas. May God give wisdom to M. Juan Carlos V. to lead the ministry.
2. La Plata UBF can grow spiritually and in number in 2023.
3. The new Sunday worship service Hall can be built until December 2023 so that we can celebrate the 2023 Christmas Worship Service there.
4. The empowerment of young leaders--Judith, Camila, Miguel, Iliana, Danyel, Andrés, Paula, and Elena.
5. Gino, Daniela, Yorman, Ronald, Laura, Dalexis, Moisés, and Ruben can be raised as disciples of Jesus. They are participating in discipleship training.
