Melbourne UBF held their Easter Conference on the weekend of April 1-2, 2023. Nick L. delivered the message of Jesus’ crucifixion based on Matthew 27. He emphasized the love of God who gave His Son Jesus for our sins on the cross through the message. Kerry L. delivered the message of Jesus’ resurrection based on Matthew 28. Through the message, he decided to be the witness of Jesus who was raised from the dead and who has all authority in heaven and on earth. God also sent short-term missionaries, In-su L., Do-kyoung L., Noah S. Jr. (from Korea), and Kina K. (from Japan). They would like to find jobs and co-work with Melbourne UBF members. James from Macquarie UBF and Ruth B. from PNG attended the conference. Ruth B. is the second daughter of Matthew B. in PNG. She is studying Medicine in Australia and wants to be a medical doctor missionary in PNG. In this conference, God has raised Msn. Jacob K. as the new leader of Melbourne UBF. Thank you, Msn. Joseph Yang for serving Melbourne UBF ministry over the last 5 years as a director faithfully. They all had a great time and a wonderful co-working under his care. On Easter Sunday they had Communion Service conducted by Pastor Joseph Y. for the first time. They all remembered the sacrificial love of Jesus who broke His body and shed His blood on the cross through this Communion Service.
