From April 17th to the 19th, the Spring Conference for staff shepherds was held at El Dorado Resort in Jeungdo-myeon, Shinan-gun, S. Korea.  A total of 86 people attended, including all the senior shepherds, 11 missionaries including Pastor Ron W. and his wife Dervilla W., and 16 shepherdesses. Through the two lectures on the Acts of the Apostles. The first lecture was titled "Tribulation and the Kingdom of God" based on Acts 14, and the second was "Jerusalem Assembly"  based on Acts 15. We learned about Paul’s missionary journey and how the gentile church and the Jerusalem church resolved conflicts with each other. We received much grace through the two lectures.

On the evening of the first day, we had two special lectures, the first being "Reading the Four Gospels Abundantly (Jesus' burial and Resurrection)" by Yong-seok K. and the second being "Reading the Acts and Epistles Abundantly (I must visit Rome also)" by Caleb C. Through these special lectures, we learned about the advantages and benefits of reading the four Gospels together and the benefits and richness of reading the Acts and Epistles together as a whole rather than separately.

On the second day, we had time to explore the Jeungdo area, which is a historic site that contains the history of Christianity in Korea. Under the guidance of Rev. Shin-Deok K., who serves the Tobia Mission, we followed the pilgrimage route that shows the life and traces of Missionary Joon-Kyung M., an evangelist for the island villages. We were greatly moved and received grace through his life and martyrdom as a passionate evangelist like Jesus and the apostle Paul. And I prayed earnestly for the international conference in the U.S. on August 3-6. We give thanks to God for allowing us to have an in-person conference for the first time in a long time, have deep fellowship, and receive abundant grace.
