This book is the result of contemplating on how to make the comprehensive content of the vast Bible, which was written by about 40 people over a span of approximately 1,600 years, easily understandable for those who are encountering the Bible for the first time while also considering the most effective way to convey the message of the Gospel in the intellectually advanced modern world. Also, the book aims to help readers understand the core message of the Bible. Starting from God's creation, the author succinctly summarizes the long march of God's great salvation journey, including the fall of humanity, the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and the salvation and completion of salvation for humankind through the Gospel, explaining the core of the Christian world-view from a biblical perspective. In particular, this book is based on 17 selected Bible passages composed in a storytelling format that is necessary to clearly and easily explain the essence of the Gospel. The book raises questions and interprets these stories so that even elementary school students can easily understand the gospel through them. This book was written to share practical experiences of the gospel, to discover who we are through the Creator God's perspective and the gospel, and also to help Christians how to live their lives rather than merely to give theoretical knowledge. I pray that this book will be helpful to our shepherds and missionaries in comprehending and teaching the Bible holistically and effectively communicating the Gospel.

이 책은 약 1600년간 40여 명에 의해 쓰여진 방대한 성경의 전체적인 내용과 그 핵심 메시지가 무엇인지를 성경을 처음 접하는 분들도 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 하면서, 지성이 발달한 현대 세계에서 복음을 가장 효과적으로 전달할 수 있는 방법이 무엇인지를 고민한 결과로 나온 산물입니다. 창조로부터 시작하여 인간의 타락, 예수 그리스도의 십자가와 부활의 복음을 통한 인간의 구원과 구원의 완성이라는 하나님의 대장정의 역사를 성경 전체의 맥락에서 일목요연하게 정리하여 기독교 세계관의 핵심을 성경적 관점에서 쉽게 설명해 주려고 노력하였습니다. 특히 복음의 정수를 가장 쉽고 명확하게 설명하고자 복음을 설명하는데 꼭 필요하면서도 누구나 쉽게 이해할 수 있는 스토리로 구성된 17개의 성경 본문에 기초하여 초등학생들도 쉽게 이해할 수 있도록 질문하고 해설하는 방식을 취했습니다. 단순히 지식적 차원을 넘어 복음에 대한 체험적 신앙을 나누며, 나는 누구인가를 창조주 하나님과 복음 안에서 발견하고 찾아 어떻게 살 것인가를 결단하도록 돕는 삶의 지침서가 될 수 있도록 저술하였습니다. 이 책이 우리 목자님들과 선교사님들이 성경을 전체적으로 이해하고 가르치며, 복음을 효과적으로 전하는데 도움이 되기를 기도합니다.
