(ISBC 2023-Updated) P. Ron Ward and the Journey Team Visited UBF Chapters in Canada from May 28th - June 4th, 2023

P. Ron and Dervilla W., M. David and Joy K., Elder Jim and Dr. Helen R. (only Montreal) visited six different locations in eastern Canada to meet with members from eleven chapters: Hamilton (joined by London), Toronto (joined by St. George and York), Humber, Scarborough (joined by TMU), Ottawa (joined by Rideau), and Montreal from May 28 to June 4. They visited many campuses in person and prayed for Canadian students in each place. Pastor Ron Ward delivered a very inspiring message titled " When the Holy Spirit comes" (subtitle: Young people will see visions) based on Acts 2:1-21. He delivered this message six times in seven days.
In each meeting, two young people shared their bible reflections or life testimonies. When the Holy Spirit came, the apostles were transformed by the power of the Spirit and became powerful witnesses of Jesus' crucified and risen. Likewise, young people will see visions when the Holy Spirit comes, and old people dream dreams. P. Ron encouraged young people in each ministry to come and see the glory of God at ISBC and catch God's vision for them. His message encouraged and challenged all our missionaries and young people and motivated us to pray earnestly for God's blessing on ISBC.
M. David K. gave his lecture on "The spirituality of the cross," which encouraged us to come to Jesus as we are to find healing and power to follow the way of the cross as Jesus' witnesses. The journey team's visit to each chapter was a time of mutual encouragement and earnest prayer for his kingdom in North America and his blessing upon the upcoming ISBC. We praise and thank God for his grace and blessing upon us.
