I want to share the grace of the Baptism Ceremony in Cologne (Köln) on the holiday of Pentecost (May 29, 2023). First, it was the fruit of a beautiful collaboration of five second-generation sister missionaries in their twenties: Je*sin Y., Ye*eun Y., Jo*sefin L., Jo*hanna L, Jo*hanna Y. They have been serving CBF, JBF, Youth Worship with dedication, but wanted a momentum of change through public baptism.

Second, for the process of preparation, they partook in baptism study, prayer, and testimony preparation with Jan W. for one month.  Third, based on one word of God, and through the confession of sins, each of them died to the old self and now is the new self-born through clear testimony, determination, and prayer topics. On this day, the UBF family and many old school alumni attended, and some said it was the first time they had witnessed "such a beautiful baptism with such gracious testimonies."
Fourth, P. Jonathan H. performed the baptism. His short but clear words will remain in the hearts of all attendees, "If you keep my commands, you will remain in my love" based on John 15. Fifth, second-generation missionaries from Bonn, Düsseldorf, Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Wiesbaden, etc., attended and shared joy and grace. After the ceremony, a second-generation missionary expressed his wish, "Wow, I also want to participate in the same grace next time." Hallelujah!

2023년 5월 29 일 월요일 성령강림절 (공휴일)에 있었던 쾰른의 침례 예식에 대해 은혜를 나누고자 합니다.
첫째, 5명의 2세 자매 선교사님들의 아름다운 동역의 열매였습니다. 이들은 CBF, JBF, 매월 있는 청년 예배 등을 헌신적으로 섬기고 있으며 학업을 모범적으로 감당하고 있습니다.
둘째, 한달간 얀 목자님 (쾰른 UBF의 회장) 의 세례 학습, 기도와 마음 (발표) 준비 과정이 있었습니다.

셋째, 각자 한 말씀에 기초하여 죄를 고백함으로 옛 사람이 죽고 새 사람으로 살고자 하는 분명한 간증과 결단과 기도제목이 있었습니다. 이 날 침례식에 UBF 가족 뿐 아니라 옛 학교 동창들도 다수 참석하였는데, 어떤 참석자는 "이렇게 아름다운 침례식은 처음 본 것 같다" 는 소감을 나눴습니다. 많은 UBF 동역자님들도 동일한 은혜를 나누었습니다.
넷째, 침례를 집전한 홍요나단 목사 (홍다윗 선교사의 막내아들. 독일 부터탈 국교회 목사)의 짧으나 분명한 한마디 말씀 (요15장. 주님의 계명을 지킴으로 내 사랑에 거하라!) 은 세례를 받는 자나 참석자 모두의 마음에 남고 기억될 것입니다.
다섯째, 본, 뒤셀도르프, 하이델베르크, 프랑크루프트, 비스바덴 등지에서도 2세 선교사들이 참석하여 기쁨과 은혜를 함께 나누었습니다. 고졸시험 준비중인 한 2세 선교사는 감동하여 "나도 다음 번에 이렇게 은혜로운 세례에 동참하겠다" 고 말하였습니다. 할렐루야!
