A beautiful wedding took place on June 17th at the Depok Center in Indonesia, uniting Hendra and Ayu in marriage. During the ceremony, M. Peter L. delivered a message based on the words of Jesus, specifically focusing on the miraculous transformation of water into wine as described in John 2.

Hendra had previously lived a life without purpose, characterized by excessive drinking, smoking, and lustful desires. However, through his engagement with the word of God and regular attendance at Sunday worship services, he encountered Jesus and experienced the transformative power of faith. Presently, he faithfully serves as a presider at the Depok Center Sunday service and actively participates in the New Generation Meeting in Indonesia.

Ayu, who grew up in a disadvantaged family, was once a timid and introverted child. However, after relocating to Jakarta and studying the word of God under the guidance of M. Opie, a missionary based in Chicago, USA sent out from Indonesia, she also encountered Jesus and underwent a profound personal transformation. Today, Ayu joyfully serves in praise and worship during Sunday worship services and contributes to the growth and development of second-generation believers and leaders.

We give praise and thanks to God for His power to change their lives and establish a beautiful house church through their union. May Jesus, who turned water into wine, continue to bless this family and use them as vessels of His ministry, like precious wine. In 2023, God has established the third family, and we pray that a total of five families may be raised up by the end of this year. May God's blessings be upon the upcoming ISBC in August and our Indonesia Summer Conference as well.
