Please Pray for the Eradication of Ebola Virus Disease in Africa!!

The World Health Organization (WHO) continues to monitor the evolution of the Ebola virus disease (EVD) outbreak in Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea and Nigeria. The WHO, in partnership with the Ministries of Health in the four West African countries announced a cumulative total of 1323 suspect and confirmed cases of EVD and 729 deaths, as of July 27, 2014.

Ebola virus disease is a severe, often fatal illness, with a case fatality rate of up to 90%. It is one of the world’s most virulent diseases. The infection is transmitted by direct contact with the blood, body fluids and tissues of infected animals or people.

Please pray for the African people and our UBF members in Nigeria, Ghana and Cameroon in Western Africa as well as Uganda, Sudan and South Sudan which experienced an outbreak of the disease before, along with other African nations.
Especially pray for our UBF missionaries and their family members to be protected from Ebola Virus.
