Egypt UBF
June 20, 2014

My wife, M. S.W. and I (M. Andy K.) safely arrived in Cairo, Egypt on June 8, 2014. Our Egypt UBF has been duly registered as a NGO (Non-Governmental Organization) and made a sign for it and openly hung it over the entrance. About 15 people come to the group Bible study and around 20 people attend the worship service. It was very impressive to see that everyone enthusiastically sings praise songs, prays and enjoys studying in Arabic. However, most of the attendees are family members and their relatives from the nearby village.

Every week brother Ay M. downloads a questionnaire and a message from Chicago UBF and/or Washington UBF and translates it into Arabic and then leads the group Bible study and delivers a message.

Currently Sh. Ay M. is a senior at the Department of Law of the Al Shams University, one of the top universities. He is planning to go to a two year law school after graduation and become a lawyer. He is doing construction work to support his family members (his wife, Hannah and three children who are attending an elementary school).
We are going to visit Korea for a while and return to Cairo on Sept. 1, 2014.

Our Prayer Topics:
1. To have one to one with college students
2. To move UBF center near the campus so that many students may easily come
3. To have wisdom and direction from God so that we may effectively help this ministry
4. To newly overcome the regional dialect
5. To get a job or start a new business and for M. Sowon also to get a job at the international school
