Dear World Mission Prayer Coworkers,

Thank you for your earnest prayer support.

P. Abraham Kim and North American senior staff members visited City Hall combined-condolence place for the late students who perished in the shipwreck. We were very sad but at the same time we were very much encouraged by the endless stream of people coming to show their sorrow as well as repentant heart written on so many cards hung on the tents saying, "We are sorry! We are responsible!" We saw God's hope for Korea again through this disaster. May God use this as a new opportunity to return to God and renew our faith in God so that Korea may be used as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation continually.

Another picture will show you how God blessed our first attempt to gather together among HQ North American senior staff, Korean senior staff and the board of elders. We congratulated S. David Kim that God has elected him for another 3 years to lead Korea UBF as a new director. We had lunch fellowship with Korea senior staff and dinner with the board of elders. We shared whatever subjects we were concerned about for many hours to understand each other better and to coworker better to serve God's world mission together. We thanked God for using Korea for more than half a century as royal priests and cared for all our missionaries. We talked about how to take care of so many issues of our self-supporting missionaries, especially health, continued education, retired, expelled and burned out missionaries who return from mission fields, how to support new generation leaders, etc.

All seemed to thank God for this new attempt and to have similar occasions in the future too. We prayed for European SBC speakers, CIS speakers (tentative) and sick coworkers too.
Thanks for your prayers again.

In Christ,

Joseph Ahn
