"He has Risen"
On April 19 and 20, the German Rhine Mainz Region Easter Conference was held in a youth hostel in Wiesbaden. Situated in the Rhine and Main river region, Frankfurt 1, 11, Mainz, Wiesbaden UBF chapters participated. About 40 co-workers attended and studied the meaning of the cross and resurrection of Jesus.
In Germany, during Easter, most students go home on vacation so it is not easy to invite them to the conference. But this year six students attended who have been coming to Bible study and worship service. They are Jean Claud, Miigaa Baatur, Angelika Jaeckl, Klaus-Peter Schwab, Kirchhoff Kim and Catherine.
On April 19, the opening message was delivered by M. Peter Kim based on I Cor.15:3,4.
After group Bible study, M. Augustin Kim delivered the main message based on Luke chapter 23. We had time to write and share testimonies in groups based on Luke 23.
After dinner, Sheph. Rene Richelshagen (Colone) delivered a message based on 1 Corinthians 15: 20. After the message, Jean Claud, Sarah Kim, Gideon Kim, Rebekka Ryu, David Kim, Samuel Kim and Joy Kim shared their testimonies, while Esther H. (Frankfurt Part 2) shared her life testimony.
Easter night, four of Mainz II UBF missionaries (David Kim, Samuel Kim, Rebecca Ryu, Sarah Kim) served Worship Dance. Nine members of the chamber orchestra team (Frankfurt 1,11 and Mainz, Wiesbaden) played songs of praise which made a big impression. Especially through their partnership, we have hope for the spiritual future of Germany and Europe. Lastly, co-workers of Frankfurt 1 prepared a cantata wholeheartedly about the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus.
On Easter Sunday morning, Missionary Samuel Peter Ryu (Mainz) the delivered message based on Matthew 28:63 followed by group Bible study. The resurrection is a historical fact, with the empty tomb being clear evidence. M David Cho ( Frankfurt 1) delivered closing message based on Matthew 28:19,20, “Go make disciples of all nations.”
We prayed earnestly for raising an Abraham of faith and mother of prayer, 12 disciples of Jesus on each campus and the ISBC on Aug 14-17 at Willingen-upland.
