I chose 2 Timothy 3:16-17 as our key verse for this year. It says, “All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.” All Scripture is God-breathed and is able to make us wise for salvation. I want to be thoroughly equipped with his word for every good work especially for worship service, evangelism, and discipleship ministry. I also chose 2 Timothy 4:2 as my key verse. It says, “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction.” To do so, I need to deny myself, take up the cross, and follow Jesus. I want to meditate on Luke 9:23 every day. It says, “If anyone would come after me, he must deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me.” Jesus did not come to do his own will but to do the will of God who sent him. For this I need the grace of Jesus every day. In order to receive grace, I need to humble myself before God. When I humble myself before God and approach the throne of God’s grace with confidence, God will give me his grace. His grace will be sufficient for me to deny myself, take up the cross, and follow Jesus. His grace will give me power to preach the Word; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. May God help me to depend on his grace day by day. By the power of God’s grace, may I be thoroughly equipped for every good work especially for worship service, evangelism and discipleship ministry. Lord, bless all your people in our ministry to love you all the more, love one another, serve the needy, build up the body of Christ, and raise disciples of Jesus. Lord, help us to grow in Jesus as Christ-like servants. Lord, bless all our children to grow in Jesus, know God’s love and worship Jesus wholeheartedly. Lord, bless our one-to-one and discipleship ministry.

Prayer Topics:
● We may be thoroughly equipped with God’s word for every good work, especially for worship service, evangelism, and discipleship ministry.
● We may love God, love one another, and build up one another in the body of Christ.
● We may serve sheep with the heart of Christ and raise them as shepherds of God’s flock through deep Bible study.
● May the Lord keep and protect Joe and his soldiers, help them to complete their mission successfully, and bring them home safely.
● May God’s kingdom come and His will be done in our church as it is in heaven.
