2014 Key Verse: 2 Timothy 3:14-15

“But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.”

All in all, 2013 has been filled with God's blessings and mercy. God fulfilled His wonderful plan and planted hope in Edmonton UBF. God is always working for us because He is faithful and He is loving. We thank God and repent of our sinfulness and unbelief.

For 2014, God gave us 2 Timothy 3:14-15: “But as for you, continue in what you have learned and have become convinced of, because you know those from whom you learned it and how from infancy you have known the Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.” God inspired us to hold onto these verses through Pastor Abraham Kim's New Year message. This is Apostle Paul's last remarks to Timothy, his spiritual son. These verses encourage us to continue in what we have learned and have become convinced of, which is the Bible, God's words and God's promises. By God's grace, we learned the truth through the Bible and have become convinced of God's salvation through faith in Jesus. Through the Bible, we got to know God's salvation and received God's mission. Now we must continue in it. There are many distractions, temptations of the world, doubts and sinful desires that arise in our minds. We sometimes lose faith and conviction but we must continue. We must continue studying the Bible and serving campus mission. 2 Timothy 3:14-15 gives us direction and strength to continue to go on with our conviction in God. May we not lose our faith and spiritual conviction but instead continue our spiritual race and live for Jesus throughout 2014 by holding onto these verses.
