I thank God for his grace and blessing for our ministry. I really thank God that I could serve campus mission with precious coworkers and leaders. I want to review 2013 ministry briefly and find a new year direction for 2014.

1. Conferences

We held an autumn conference April 12-14. We prayed to have 90 attendants; God graciously answered our prayers and 90 people attended including some who attended partially. All four messages were very touching and heart moving. “Young man, get up!” (Lk 7:11-17) was delivered by Tatenda. He challenged us to get up from the coffin of despair and hopelessness. Simusos testified that he was sorrowful when his mother passed away last year but he could hear Jesus’ comforting voice, “Don’t cry,” God helped him when he was involved in a car accident. Though it overturned several times, he was the last person who came out without a serious injury. “Zacchaeus, come down”, (Lk 19:1-10) was by Tapiwa. He decided to follow Jesus and become a medical doctor and shepherd. Sister Esther witnessed how she became a Bible teacher and how she has five one to one's as a fisher of men. “Feed my sheep” (Jn 21:1-17) was delivered by Obet. We all prayed to feed sheep by the love of God. After the conference, we had an athletic day at the University of Zimbabwe on April 18 (33rd Zimbabwe Independence day).

We held a Bible conference from October 25-27, 2013. We had a record turnout of between 60-70 attendants. Close to 15 students attended for the first time. We thank God for our three excellent messengers: Shepherd Oliver Maradzike, Obert Sibanda and Blessing Fungirayi. We were moved by our ten brothers and sisters who confessed their sins and shared graceful testimonies. Shepherd Obert delivered a message on John 14 and he made a decision to become a medical and spiritual doctor as a servant of God. The life testimonies which followed the messages revealed how the brothers and sisters found the way of salvation in Jesus, accepted the truth of Jesus’ unconditional love, and received life direction to serve lost college students at any cost. Shepherd Oliver delivered a message on John 15, entitled, “Remain in Me!” Many attendants confessed that they want to bear much fruit. Sister Esther confessed her desire to be a mother of prayer and to build her life on God’s mission.

2. 12 brothers and sisters graduated

We held a graduation party for the student shepherds who graduated on September 13. The names of the graduates are: Brighton Mawombera (BA Honours in Classical), Munyaradzi Mawadze (BA General), Blessed Fungirayi (Bsc Pharmacy), Honest Fungirayi (Ma African Languages), Mazuru Tatenda (BA Gen), Malvern Mashizha (BA Gen), Peter Makaya(BA. Gen), Emmanuel Hwata and Esther Kakono. There were 12 students with whom we celebrated their graduation. Each one of them shared a short life testimony and thanksgiving and prayer topics. We pray for new and clear direction, especially for jobs and establishing house churches by faith.

3. A Missionary Candidate was sent to Korea
By the grace of God, Sister Appolonia Ndlovu was sent to Korea as a student missionary candidate. She received a scholarship from Kemoyung University. Missionary Samuel Lee helped her to have faith in God. She deeply accepted God’s mission and has a clear prayer topic to be a mother of prayer for Zimbabwe. She is studying the Korean language and is going to study a master’s degree soon.

4. The International conference
Shepherd Oliver and Msn Rebeka Shin attended the ISBC in USA. Shepherd
Oliver shared his life-testimony. God has blessed his life of faith and he could overcome many hardships and showed very good examples of the victorious life. He could have world mission vision through this conference. Now Shepherd Oliver delivers Sunday message regularly. Now he is one of the Sunday’s messengers.

5. Medical attachments and spiritual camp

I went to Korea with five medical students for their medical training; they are Lovemore, Tapiwa, Obet, Joseph and Onward. They studied medicine for four years and they had to go for the attachment. We prayed for them to go to Korea for training. Shepherd Abe Choi from Kwanak 3 accepted three brothers and Hanyang University accepted two brothers. They received very good medical training; three of them at Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital and two at Hanyang University Hospital from Dec. 9 – 22. After that, they participated in a spiritual camp from Dec. 23 – Jan.15, 2014. Five brothers prepared their life-testimonies and they visited Jongro, Kwanak and Hanyang chapters and shared their graceful testimonies. Through this attachment, they could see the advanced medical world in Korea and they have learned the work of God in Korea. They have met many medical doctors and shepherds in our ministries and could get a vision as shepherd doctors. Through spiritual camp, we pray that they may be faithful shepherds and excellent medical doctors for our mission.

6. Co-working

I thank God for our precious coworkers. Missionary Samuel and Anna served many
sisters. 12 sisters were raised and they had regular meeting. Among Sarah team, Sister Esther was doing five one to ones per week. Missionary Samuel also extended his visa for two years. Even though they are silver missionaries, they worked hard to serve many sheep. Missionary Caleb could open his 2nd photo shop branch. Missionary Sus Yoon also served regular sister sheep by faith.

God has blessed us through his wonderful words and coworking. God has blessed Genesis and Exodus Bible study. Our local shepherds become good messengers. I pray that God may also bless John’s gospel message for 2014 and continue to serve disciple-making ministry.
