Dear Co-workers in Christ,

Thank you for your prayer and love for me and my family.

My mother had been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease for the past 3-4 years. She had been progressively worsened in her condition. She had fracture on her hip from falling and had operation last year and was recovering ever since. Recently, she fell again and the nurse in the nursing home found her on the floor of her bedroom. In the hospital, the X-ray revealed her hairline fracture in her pelvic bone. The doctors later found out that she had a "silent heart attack". They administered some blood thinning drug and was monitoring her condition. The doctors thought that she was stabilized and was sending her back to the nursing home in a day or two. Then, on March 6, early in the morning she had another major heart attack (I found out this later when the doctor called me). When I was called from the hospital at 4 a.m. she was already unconscious. Grace and I spent an hour with her at the hospital before she breathed her last. We prayed that she may hold on to Jesus' blood and enter into heaven. She went to the church in Vancouver, and I believe she accepted Jesus. God knows man's heart and he will judge according to what everyone has done.

At this moment, we are planning to have a funeral service in Montreal, even though she would be buried in Vancouver beside my father. We will have the funeral service on March 12 (Wed.) at 7:30 p.m. I don't expect people from far away places to come. We already accepted your prayer support and love through many expressions of condolences and sympathy. And we are deeply grateful of your concerns and love.
