Please Pray for Ukraine
Ukraine UBF
February 26, 2014
It is literally a quasi-state of war here in Ukraine.
Ukraine has been immersed in deep conflicts between Pro-Russian and Pro-European elements. Ukrainians’ anger finally exploded when the Comprehensive Cooperation Agreement with Europe was canceled due to pressure from Russia in November 2013. So far about 100 people have been killed and 3000 people have been injured in the conflicts.
Thankfully, however, our UBF brothers and sisters are safe. We have committed ourselves to intercessory prayer. Only I am a bit worried about the invitation of our brothers and sisters to the upcoming CIS International Summer Bible Conference in Moscow in August.
I pray that the kingdom of God may come to Ukraine through these trials. Please continue to pray for Ukraine to grow as a kingdom of priests and a holy nation, a shepherd nation and a missionary sending nation and to achieve true reconciliation and peace in Jesus who is the way and the truth and the life.
We are studying the book of Jeremiah after finishing the book of Jonah and praying for this country and for our ministry to raise many disciples of Jesus who can intercede for their own country with many tears and who can love their own people with the love of God.
