2014 North America Representative Members’ Meeting Highlights:
Review of 2013
1. 2013 international summer Bible conference (ISBC) “So Loved”: God blessed the 2013 ISBC through a pre-conference international survey and coworking among senior, junior, and young leaders. Entire UBF community supported it by sending 745 delegates to the ISBC, including 270 from Korea chapters. Total participants were 2,735 including 905 students. God raised 16 native leaders/2nd-gen messengers and 27 testimony speakers. About 240 young people newly accepted Christ and 273 people signed up missionary pledge.
2. God sent out 47 missionaries (Korea 44, USA 2, Germany 1) to 13 countries. One country (Netherlands) and 10 chapters (USA 5, Germany 1, Netherlands 1, Russia 1, Indonesia 1, Brazil 1) were newly planted.
3. Bethesda Medical Center in Uganda opened on February 9, 2013.
4. UBF History Museum in Gwangju, Korea, opened on November 25, 2013.
5. God protected David Kang (Honduras), Timothy Jung and Ezra Jung (Tanzania) from gunshot in January, 2013. Thank God.

UBF ministries worldwide
1. Sunday worship service attendees: 8,657 (2011) 8,800 (2012, +143) 9,007 (2013, +207). Remarkable growth in 2013 occurred in Asia (+71), CIS (+61) and Latin America (+53).
2. Among the 323 international UBF chapters, 159 chapters consist of one family (49%); 71 chapters consist of two families (22%); and 93 chapters consist of three or more families (29%). Most of the one-family chapters are struggling to raise one ancestor of faith. Please pray for those chapters.

North America Representative Members and Board of Elders
1. Dr. James Kim (President) and Dr. James Joung retired from eldership after 36 years of honorable service. The members elected Dr. Augustine Sohn as new president and Dr. Alan Wolff as new vice-president.

3. New elders: Richard Choi, Dennis Miller (Chicago), Dr. David Min (Los Angeles)
4. New members: Andrew Han (North York), Dane Whitmer (Baltimore II), Dr. Joseph Wert (New Albany), Peter Park (Toledo), Daniel Yoshiba, David Hull, James Ahn, Joseph Grady, Luke Moon (Chicago); The total number of representative members is 69.
