Jesus Lives in Me

It was held in Ibiúna, Sao Paulo, a place with fresh air and a beautiful environment. All four UBF centers in Brazil attended this conference (USP, Consolação, Mooca and Campinas) and there were 53 attendees.

Four main messages were preached. The first message was based on Gn 3:1-24 (The Fall of Man and the Promise of God) and was delivered by the second generation Moses Park, showing the true hope of God in man, in spite of his fall into sin.

The second message was John 3:1-21 (The Son’s Mission) preached by second generation Isaac Kim who revealed the mission of Jesus Christ to save the world and to give us eternal life; the third message was based on Matthew 27:27-61 (Jesus’s Death, Our Death) and was delivered by second generation Joshua Park, testifying to all the glory, love and power of Jesus shown on the cross.

The last message was based on Romans 5:12-6:23 (Offer Yourselves to God) and was preached by Missionary Timothy Han, giving direction and clear guidance to the participants so that they may experience the new life with Christ living in us.
Also, we had evening messages preached by Shepherd Leibins Rivas from Caracas UBF, Venezuela (The Incarnation of the Word) and by second generation Joan Kim (the Resurrection of Christ!)

Through the graceful group Bible studies and messages, we could receive Jesus our Savior, who rescued us from our sins through the cross and gave us a new life by indwelling our hearts.

We learned that Jesus already has taken care of everything, and that we too were crucified with Jesus in the cross. Our old life of sin no longer lives; rather, Jesus lives in us!
We enjoyed fellowship with each other in worship services, Bible studies, meals, sports and testimony sharing. Also we had a good time with the programs of praise & worship, dance and drama.

Many brothers and sisters opened their hearts through listening to the life testimonies of brother Reinaldo, Missionary Nathan and Missionary Omar.
God’s grace was also revealed during the conference through the testimonies of second generations: Noah, Sam, Samuel and Sara.

The students Adria, Gislene, Edeli and Hugo shared the grace that they received through the conference.
The new brothers and sisters enjoyed the conference and it helped them to take the clear direction to stay firm in 1:1 Bible study and SWS, growing spiritually.

We give thanks to God who blessed our conference with his Spirit, touching our hearts through his word! We pray that Jesus may live in us taking away our sins, and using us as instruments of righteousness. May God help us to love and preach the word of God, loving our God first, and raising disciples in this year.
