Uganda Healing Camp 2014 News

Thank you for your prayers for me and my healing mission. I just came back from the healing camp in Kapchorwa, a 6 hour bus ride from Kampala. 36 people joined (Korea: 30, Germany: 5, USA: 1: me); we were divided into three teams. Team One and Team Two served village people; team Three was a surgical team at Kapchorwa Hospital. I was assigned to Team Three with two surgeons (Dr Kim from Korea, Dr Ulrike Gross from Germany) and two other nurses (one new RN from Korea and an ER nurse from Germany) and several medical students. God was with us each moment while having surgery even though several times the power went out even in the midst of surgery. You cannot imagine the operation room's condition. Dr Kim brought a portable light and all the surgery instruments and materials from Korea. In such impossible conditions, God blessed the surgeon's hard work and their serving heart; we could see 31 cases of surgery out of 53 screened Pts. One very difficult case took seven hours; another took four hours. Thank and praise God who gave me this opportunity to be used by him in a small way to share the love of God with needy Ugandans.
