God Who Has Made Us Gospel Workers

(In this report I will concentrate on God’s work among the 2nd generation missionaries).
In this past year, God has raised our children as 2nd generation missionaries. An important prayer topic of Hungary UBF was to help our 2nd generation missionaries to grow in faith as children of God. Grace Kim turned 18 and came of age. Somang Nada Kim is 15 and was supposed to grow as a coworker of God. But spiritually they were still very young. Grace Kim is very shy and doesn’t like standing in front of people. Both were becoming rebellious and didn’t want to do things together with their parents.

We realized that they should come to deeply understand the gospel and grow as women of faith in order to cowork in God’s work. M. Andrew Kim served them with the gospel according to their age. He gave every effort to plant faith in God in their hearts. Through God’s word from Matthew’s Gospel and from Genesis, God helped them to have faith in the living God. Through the International Summer Bible Conference in the USA, God helped them to realize God’s love and to have confidence that God is with them.

When they had personal faith in God, they could overcome challenges in school very well. Grace who used to be reserved became bright and joyful. Because of her introverted character, she used to have a hard time making friends, but she became more active and made many friends and prays for them. God gave her the special gift of languages, so that she had good results in these subjects. Somang Nada entered high school and had to get used to a new environment and make new friends. She is giving a good influence and had many friends around her. Before, she was mobbed, but now she has become a good influence. I believe that God is raising them as shepherdesses for Hungarian students. I praise God for raising our 2nd gens as women of God.
