After the Australian missionary conference, P. Abraham, Msns. Sarah Kim, Stephen Ahn, Jose and Maria Ahn visited Melbourne University. On Sunday, Dec. 15, we had Christmas worship service with the message by P. Abraham Kim based on Matthew 2, "Worship, the Shepherd King Jesus!"

Melbourne ministry started in 1987 with more than twelve missionaries. However, the present ministry began after the CMI departed from us. God let two missionary families become remnants and continue his life giving ministry in 2002. Later in 2007, one missionary family from PNG joined the ministry. Three families and a single missionary are now working together for Melbourne ministry: Joseph and Esther Sim and their four daughters, Esther (22), Anna (18), Debbie (17) and Joanne (14); Joseph and Deborah Yang and their two children, Sarah (16), Daniel (14); Joseph and Gospel Kim and their 3 daughters, Grace (14), Faith (12) and Daniella (7) and a single missionary, Andy Yang.

We serve two campuses: La Trobe University and the University of Melbourne. Every Monday, we visit La Trobe to go fishing. Sarah Taroza, Rachel and Luke are La Trobe students studying the Bible with our missionaries. Every Tuesday and Wednesday, we have a prayer meeting and go fishing at Melbourne University. Caitlyn, Dean, Pierce and Esther are having faithful 1:1 Bible studies and they are growing as Jesus’ disciples.

Our prayer topics are:
1. The Gospel of Matthew ministry (three messengers Joseph Sim, Joseph Yang, Jacob Kim, testimony writing and deep Bible study)
2. Personal growth of each Bible student
3. Raise one ancestor of faith in each campus
4. Unity and love and service toward one another
