Christmas Greetings from Ecuador UBF

Praise Immanuel God who was with all of the world mission coworkers and revealed his glory. On Dec. 22 Ecuador UBF had Christmas worship service. I was worried thinking about our shepherds who were busy with school study and work and wondered if we would have a very lonely Christmas worship service. But God who sent a host of angels, shepherds and Magi to celebrate the birth of the baby Jesus, and also sent Bible students to share the joy at our Christmas service.

In the part one of the service, M. Andre Kim delivered a message based on Is 9:1-7 with a title, “Mighty God, Everlasting Father”. Brother Mauricio testified how Jesus visited his life as a great light while he was living under the shadow of darkness and death. In the part two, the second gens and shepherds and Bible students presented instrumental music, duo drama and dance. Afterward, we had a traditional meal, a turkey dinner, together.

We were sorry that some of the invited people didn’t come, but we thanked God for raising two brothers as remnants in 2013. Brother Michael attends Sunday worship service and Bible study faithfully, and Brother Mauricio shared his testimony, served dancing and duo drama for the Christmas worship service with all his heart and was full of joy. I pray that God may raise them as his servants like Abraham and Moses. Thank you very much for the prayer support for Ecuadorian ministry.
