“Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favor rests” (Luke 2:14).
Minneapolis, St. Paul and Eau Claire chapters had a joint Christmas Worship Service on Sunday, December 8th at the University of Minnesota St. Paul Student Center. In spite of very cold and snowy weather, all 60 attendants including coworkers, Bible students, and family members came to worship our Savior King, Jesus. Pastor Kevin Albright also came all the way from Chicago to deliver a joyful Christmas message.
Worship began at 2:00 p.m. with singing along. Before the message, a choir sang and glorified God with peaceful chorus music. Pastor Kevin then delivered a graceful testimonial message entitled “Glory to God, Peace to Us” based on Luke 2:1-20. Afterwards, two U of M students, Luke Jordan and Miriam Moore, shared their beautiful life testimonies.
Our Minneapolis orchestra trio played special music for the offering, which was dedicated to the relief work for all the natural disasters around the world in 2013. After the worship service, all attendants enjoyed wonderful refreshments and fellowship while sharing a deliciously prepared dinner. Praise God for richly blessing our joint Christmas Worship Service!
