November 1, 2013
Our Bethesda Medical Center has fitted out with new medical equipments (electronic endoscope set - gastroscope, colonoscopy, bronchoscope, ultrasound, operating room lights & bed, blood tests etc.) and now we are preparing for running the health examination program that targets Uganda Korean residents first for two months from coming November. Hiring new employees, we are striving hard for providing the best medical services in this new environment.
In last July, a vision care team visited us from Korea and performed free eyesight examination and eyesight recovery surgery. Furthermore, our BMC became a Uganda branch of the Vision Care Service Korea by signing the MOU. From now on, the vision care team will visit us two times every year from Korea and perform eye treatment and surgery on a regular basis and will help setting the ophthalmic equipments and training our medical team members.
Healing Mission Camp 2014 will be held in coming January 27 through 30 at Kapchorwa city in Uganda. South Korea team will come to the camp on Jan. 25 and go back on Feb. 1. We were also informed that 5 members from Germany will attend this healing camp. Please pray for this Healing Mission Camp 2014 and our Bethesda Medical Center ministry as well.
