Dr. John Jun’s CME Report - Moscow I
Moscow UBF, Russia
October 18, 2013
“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.” Ephesians 1:3
Thank God for sending Dr. John Jun to Moscow for CME ministry! Dr. John Jun has served CME in Irkutsk for one week right before coming to Moscow on Oct. 7. On every Tue., Wed., Thur. and Fri. morning all women missionaries studied Ephesians 1- 3 and he gave them special lectures for children’s education based on the Bible, and all women missionaries shared their reflections with deep repentance and many tears, which were full of grace and praise.
On Tue. & Thur. evening all men missionaries studied Ephesians 1- 3 and shared their reflections on Sat. morning. On Wed. & Fri. evening, all the native shepherds studied Ephesians 1-3 with him and shared their reflections on Sat. evening. In addition, on Sat. late night Dr. John Jun led the group Bible study one more time for the absentees. On Sunday, Dr. John Jun delivered a message based on Ephesians 1: 1-14 and Sh. Alexei Beleuh, Moscow UBF director interpreted it. It was so powerful, gracious and even humorous that all our hearts were greatly moved by it.
Through the message and Bible study with him, we all renewed God’s calling as campus shepherds and missionaries of this generation. Above all, through meditating on Ephesians 1:1-14 we all newly made a decision to live as men and women of carrying the precious mission that God entrusted us with as St. Paul did.
Dr. John Jun will serve CME for Moscow II (Baumann Engineering Institute, MGIMO, MISIS centers) this week and move on to St. Petersburg next week. Please continually pray for him and his CME ministry.
