Bonn UBF Celebrated the 33rd Anniversary
Bonn UBF, Germany
September 30, 2013
Bonn UBF in Germany had a Worship Service, celebrating its thirty third anniversary of pioneering. It was full of joy and thanksgiving, one day after Dr. Johannes and Mary Chang’s wedding.
The message was delivered by Pastor Mark Vucecovich, the coordinator of N. America UBF, based on Ezra 7:10. The title was “Ezra’s Decision of Life“. The message was graceful and spirited. Ezra did not study the Bible to teach others, but he studied the Bible to obey God’s word. Through this deep Bible study, the Israelites were revived and could be used as Bible teachers. After the message, Dr. Petrus Chang (second gen. missionary) shared Ezra’s Vision, Sh. Stefan Elsholz shared Ezra’s strategy, and Peter Schweitzer shared Ezra’s prayer topics.
The attendents made new decisions to live the life of deep Bible study, obedience to the words of God and teaching God’s words.
During the second part, there were beautiful proprams: Oboe and clarinet duet, words of encourgement by M. Daniel Yang from Chicago, Dr. Peter Kim from Kiev, Happy Maria’s Soprano solo, mission reports by Little Sarah Kim from Chicago and Isaac Kim from LA in USA. Five of the second gens danced a beautiful ballet and recited a poem. Programs were finished with thanksgiving prayers by Rebekah Kim from Akron USA and Barnabas Kim from Moscow.
Bonn UBF was pioneered by Dr. Peter and Sarah Chang 33 years ago, Sept. 1980. Now Sh. Joachim Dietzel, Peter Schweitzer, Stefan Elsholz and Jochen Schweitzer deliver Sunday messages by rotation.
