Isaiah 49:15 “Can a mother forget the baby at her breast and have no compassion on the child she has borne? Though she may forget, I will not forget you!”

Jongno I and Wharang UBF had a joint Summer Bible Conference (SBC) July 19-22 at Chooyang retreat near Seolak Mountain in Korea.
For the SBC, we cried out to God earnestly for 100 days. What we really prayed for was: May our tears stream like the river by the Holy Spirit and may God send us future leaders for making a holy nation in Korea and NK mission. In our fervent prayer, God gave us compassionate hearts for campus students who were wounded deeply because of their sins. God also led us to have a main theme of “healing of my soul” with Isaiah 49:15 for our SBC.
During the preparation of our SBC, we sincerely ate daily bread based on the book of Jeremiah and the words of God helped us to be brokenhearted for all students in our chapter like Jeremiah. God answered to our prayers and sent many new students (Jongno I: 35). Healing streams of river of the Holy Spirit flowed into our wounded hearts and minds. God raised up a new discipleship team named Tiger team.
This SBC was made of our tears of prayer. When we prayed, we could witness God’s deliverance on all messages and the beautiful Les Miserable musical. Many students poured their wounds and pains into their reflection writing and the reflection sharing time was marvelously graceful. God’s wonderful grace was continued after our SBC on the Tiger team’s discipleship ministry and picnic with a total number of 17 new students.
I praise God who showed his abundant grace and his sovereignty on our SBC as we poured our prayer out.
