Wesley and Ester Jun’s First Son, Ethan Daniel Jun was Born

Ethan Daniel Jun was born May 3, 2013 and weighed 7 lbs and 5 oz.  The name Ethan means "strong", "firm", and "permanent".  In the Bible, Ethan was a cymbal player in David's court.  The year 2012 was a very difficult year because of my studies. Yet throughout the year, Ethan would constantly kick in the womb, similar to a percussion player, giving Ester and me joy and assurance of greater things.  In the Bible, Ethan's wisdom is understated (1 King 4:31).  His wisdom is described very shortly in one verse.  But in the one verse we can deduce that his wisdom was so great that it was a frame of reference for Solomon--one of the wisest men in the Bible.  Ethan, in the Bible also wrote Psalm 89--a psalm praising God's love, sovereignty, and righteousness.

Ester and I are praying that Ethan Daniel can grow up to be a humble, wise and firm man of God similar to Daniel, who stood out among all the people in his time as a leader and servant.
