1.     Summer Conference

 

We had a summer conference on November 16-18 with 68 attendants. The title was “The truth will set you free.”

 

Shepherd Obet delivered “Do you want to get well?”(Jn5), He gave us a clear message that we should have holy desire to be healed. Shepherd Onward memorized and delivered his message “The truth will set you free.” We learned that we become disciples by holding the word of God and true freedom comes from the truth. Shepherd Tapiwa delievered, “Apostle Paul’s spirit of witnessing” (Act 14). After attending the Southern Africa conference, we all made decision to be witnesses of Jesus. Dr. Samuel Lee also gave a special lecture, “UBF ministry.” Our eagle’s team members prepared their life-testimonies and they witnessed the grace of God and now they are doing Bible study. We thank God for he has blessed this conference with much grace.

 

2.     Visiting Orphanage

 

We visited an orphanage with our members and delivered gifts. Shepherd Obet and students leaders worked hard to find the proper orphanage and they prepared gifts writing children’s names on cards with one word of God. Through this visiting, our leaders have learned a giving spirit and had fellowship with children and encouraged them with the love of God.

 

3.     Dr. Lee’s Korean language course

 

There was a award ceremony of certificates from his Korean language courses. Dr. Lee handed over certificates and some students who studied well received a scholarship. God has blessed this language course and sent many sheep and they are having one to one Bible study. Some of them are attending Bible testimony sharing meeting. We thank God for using Dr. Lee and Anna Lee for raising many sheep through his Korean language course at the University of Zimbabwe.
