Uganda UBF (Africa)

October 1, 2012

Last Sunday, Bethesda directors in Uganda UBF gathered to discuss the construction of the hospital.

First of all, we all agreed to complete the hospital construction up to the second floor. Secondly, we all agreed to make every effort to open the health care center as the first priority. For this we need to purchase diagnostic equipment, like ultrasound, gastroscopy, and clinical laboratory equipment also Hematology, chemistry machine, and etc.

Regarding the construction, on the first floor, electrical wiring, plastering, plumbing pipe work, door frame repairs all have been completed. Ceiling work will be done this week and the flooring work will begin from tomorrow. Since aluminum windows have already been delivered, we will remove the scaffolding soon and fix the windows as soon as finishing the outside work. Then we will work on the door repairs, bathroom tile, toilet, vanity, and repairing light fixtures. After all, painting will be the last job to do. I think we can probably finish construction until the end of October of the first floor. So far, Köln UBF sent $5,735 through wire transfer and Korea UBF also promised to remit the construction offering to us. We are praying for completing the entire construction both first and second floors within this year. I also pray that God may move all the supporters’ hearts so that they can send necessary materials to finish all the construction before Christmas of this year.

From next week, M. David returns to his own job. So, from next month the construction will be continued by two native leaders from our center and myself. Please continually pray that the construction may be successfully done in a safe and secure manner.
